 1. Développement et applications des concepts de Transfert de Chaîne en Catalyse de Polymerisation par Coordination (CCTP ou Chain Catalysis Transfer Polymerization) :

- 1ère CCG (Catalyzed Chain Growth) appliquée au styrène (J. Polym. Sci., 2010)

- 1ère CCTP stéréosélective d’un diène conjugué, l’isoprène (J. Polym. Sci., 2010)

- Application à la copolymérisation de monomères non polaires pour enrichir un copolymère en taux de co-monomère (Macromol. Rapid. Commun., 2009 ; J. Polym. Sci., 2011)

- 1ère catalyse stéréosélective avec transfert d’un diène conjugué naturel, le myrcène (J. Polym. Sci., 2012).

- Synthèse de copolymères à bloc polyéthylène-polydiène stéréorégulier (Macromolecules, 2012).

- Publication d’un article de revue sur ce thème dans Chemical Reviews (2013).

 

2. Développement de catalyseurs organométalliques à base de terres rares :

- Mise au point du 1er système catalytique organométallique polyvalent permettant à la fois la synthèse de polystyrène 100 % syndiotactique et la synthèse de polyisoprène 97 % -cis, quand jusqu’alors les deux monomères nécessitaient des catalyseurs spécifiques (Chem. Commun., 2009 ;Chem. Commun., 2010).

- Méthodologie de synthèse organométallique en série lanthanides et catalyseurs in situ : la "Borohydride/Alkyl route". Cette stratégie one-pot propose l’emploi de précurseurs borohydrures, plus manipulables que les alkyles hautement instables et difficiles à stocker, habituellement mis en jeu, pour la synthèse d’hémi-métallocènes (J All. Comp. 2009) et de métallocènes (EurJiC, 2010).

 

- Etudes mécanistiques en Polymérisation par ouverture de cycle d’esters cycliques à partir de dérivés divalents (J. Mol. Catal. A, 2011 ; Dalton Trans., 2010 ; Chem. Commun., 2011 ; Organometallics, 2011).

3. Première Catalyse de polymérisation type Ziegler à l’aide de dérivés de type MOF (Metal Organic Framework)

- Le MOF est à la fois pré-catalyseur et charge (Macromol. Chem. Phys., 2009, collaboration T. Devic, G. Ferey, Institut Lavoisier, Versailles).

- Optimisation de systèmes catalytiques à base de MOFs permettant l’élaboration de composites à matrice cis-stéréorégulière (cis-1,4 > 90 %) (Inorg. Chem., 2012, collaboration équipe CSMN, UCCS).

 

4. Polymérisation par ouverture de cycle par catalyse organique amorcée par des dérivés sucrés

pour l’obtention de polyesters biodégradables fonctionnalisés (Polymer, 2011 ; Polym. Chem., 2012).  Applications à la nucléation du polylactide (Collaboration S. Chirachanchai, PHC Thailande, J. Polym. Sci. Part A: Polym. Chem. 2013).

2. Synthesis of rare earth organometallic catalysts:

- Development of the first versatile organometallic catalyst efficient for the synthesis of 100% syndiotactic polystyrene and 97 % cis-polyisoprene (Chem. Commun., 2009 ;Chem. Commun., 2010).

- Methodology in organometallics and in situ catalysts synthesis, in the lanthanide series: the "Borohydride / Alkyl route." This one-pot strategy proposes the use of the common borohydride precursors, more easily handling than highly unstable and difficult to store alkyl -usually involved- for the synthesis of half-metallocenes and metallocenes (J All. Comp. 2009) (EurJiC, 2010).

3. First Ziegler-type Catalytic Polymerization using MOF (Metal Organic Framework) derivatives
