  MOT DU RESPONSABLE D’ÉQUIPE  
 

L’équipe CASU est localisée à Lens et comprend 15 Enseignants-Chercheurs (4 Prs et 11 MCFs). Les thématiques de cette équipe sont pluridisciplinaires et regroupent des compétences en Catalyse Homogène, Catalyse Hétérogène, Chimie Supramoléculaire, Synthèse Organique et en Génie Chimique. 8 ECs relèvent de la Section 32, 5 de la Section 31 et 2 de la section 62. Elle a été créée ex nihilo en 1992 et n’a cessé de se développer depuis. L’équipe CASU bénéficie d’une reconnaissance nationale et internationale. Au cours de ces dernières années, elle a été invitée à donner des conférences dans des congrès internationaux majeurs dans le domaine de la Catalyse ou des Cyclodextrines. Elle entretient de nombreuses relations avec des groupes de recherche étrangers (Allemagne, Chine, Danemark, Espagne, Lituanie, Inde, Italie, Ukraine, Afrique du Sud). Elle participe activement aux programmes de recherche régionaux (CPER), nationaux (GDR, ANR) ou internationaux (PHC). Dans le cadre du programme « Investissements d’avenir », elle a été retenue pour faire partie de deux Instituts de Transition Energétique (ITE PIVERT et IFMAS).
