  MOT DU RESPONSABLE D’ÉQUIPE  
 

Créée en octobre 2017, l’équipe CIMEND émane de la volonté d’enseignants-chercheurs de développer des recherches sur le recyclage et la valorisation des produits issus de la fission nucléaire, les matériaux du nucléaire et combustibles, céramiques ou métalliques, mais aussi sur les matrices de stockage de type cimentaire ou les couches géologiques et la barrière ouvragée envisagées pour le stockage profond des déchets radioactifs (argilite, bentonite, bétons). Elle associe des compétences complémentaires en chimie des actinides, sciences des matériaux et génie civil, avec une vision commune de ses membres pour une organisation de la recherche en projets collaboratifs. Forte de ces qualités, l’équipe CIMEND pilote des partenariats de recherche avec les industriels et les acteurs majeurs du nucléaire français, Orano, Framatome, CEA, ANDRA. Elle contribue au rayonnement du site universitaire lillois dans le domaine des radionucléides et participe activement au maillage des moyens de recherche présents sur le campus.
